Internet Business Ideas – Success Or Failure? Where Will I Be One Year From Now?

For the last six months I have been trying to become that millionaire that so many internet sales opportunities are offering. They constantly advertise a get rich quick solution. Four times my bank account and credit cards have been tapped to their limits to provide the finances needed to reach that promised illusive dream.

I am now officially financially in a far worse condition than when the urge came to earn money to pay off a business investment that was struggling. Now there are two struggling business investments .. the original one and the new internet attempt.

Have you ever seen the attempts of a drowning person as they frantically reach out for anything to keep afloat? That experience happened for me once and it will never be forgotten. Flashes of that memory flow through my mind as, after another twelve hour day, I place my head on my pillow and ask God to give me more inspiration for another day, if He allows me to have one.

Many times I have clicked on and then listened to these highpowered sales pitches that convince one that what is offered is the answer to my difficulties. Of course, it is pointed out that what my previous purchase lacked is something they solemnly promise to provide. Each contract is different during the introduction but always the same after the final contract is signed.

Four times I signed on the dotted line! The income is not reducing the debts.

But, take heart. I have found that there are far less costly opportunities available! Now my task looks much easier. Just maybe there is a solution to raise the finances necessary to pay off my internet debt, and, as a result, start on the original debt. What do you think?

Internet Business Ideas I Gleaned From Crush It by Gary Vaynerchuk

In a previous article, I reviewed a book I recently read by Gary Vaynerchuk called Crush It. It is the story of one man’s success in pursuing his passion and building his business at the same time. Even though his niche is the wine industry, it is a must read for anyone interested in having an online presence. So many of Vaynerchuk’s principles cross over to any industry and are easy to use if you are willing to work.

Internet Business Idea #1 – Choose Your Preferred Platform

Vaynerchuk uses video. He knew that he was not a writer, so he should not write blog posts. But he recognized that once YouTube and other video sites came around that they was a platform that he could use. And he felt like he could be successful.

What Vaynerchuk did was pretty ingenious. He would open up three bottles of wine and pour a glass of each one. Then he would just sit in front of the camera, and he would say, “I like this because of this. And I do not like this one because of that.” And so it was a very non-snooty way of reviewing wine.

He also understood that his tastes are different than other people’s. He became the anti-hero of the wine industry because they rate wine in these big magazines, but not everybody has the same taste in wine. So he just was a very honest and talked off-the-cuff. He would say, “This is why I like this. If you like this wine, you would probably like this other wine.” So it was a really good concept.

And believe it or not, he began building quite the following just by posting these simple wine videos. The truth is you can use video for almost anything!

Internet Business Idea #2 – Build Your List

So Vaynerchuk built this platform, and he just put out these videos for like a year or two before he ever monetized his list. I think his following on Twitter right now is about 850K people. You heard me. 850K people.

So once he did monetize his list, they were just so hungry to buy from him. Whether that was wine. Whether that was information about wine. He was able to monetize that quite well.

But through that whole thing, he worked hard. Sometimes we want the magic pill. And we have to face it, working online and building a successful business is hard work at times.

Vaynerchuk says that if you are working at your own business, you can still begin to build a presence online. He says, “There are no excuses for anyone.” If you already have a full-time job, you should be working 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. He says, if you have a family, come home from work, spend time with your family, and if you are really serious about building an online business, then work from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. It is easy to say you do not have the time, but the real question is how much do you want to build your business.

Great internet business ideas take time and energy to get off the ground. Building your presence online also requires a strategic use of resources. Take a page out of Gary Vaynerchuk’s new book and focus on what you are good at and spend time building into it.

Best Internet Business Ideas – Becoming a Wedding Consultant

I’ve spent years looking over the best internet business ideas. There are many options that can work, but the key to the best are ideas that require a minimum of capital to begin and can lead to maximum profits. One idea that’s been very successful for many people I know is becoming a wedding consultant.

The concept is really very simple. You will help folks plan their weddings. First, you will want to get an idea of what your client is looking for. It can be a good idea to have a questionnaire for them to fill out. Often times your clients will have a general idea of what they want, but won’t be able to accurately describe their ideas to you. Having them fill out this questionnaire is a great way to make sure you’re both on the same page.

Once you have a good idea of what they want, it’s time to start shopping around. You’ll want to have several options for everything. For example, if you know they want white flowers, you will want to get several quotes for white lilies, white daisies or any other type of white flower. Most people don’t want their wedding consultant to do everything – they simply want them to narrow everything down to a few quick choices.

The reason that this is one of the best internet business ideas is that it takes no money to start up. Being a wedding consultant is no different than any other kind of personal shopping experience. All you need is a little time and some customer service skills.
